‘Youngblood’ narra las aventuras de varios superhéroes que a pesar de ser supervisados y presionados continuamente por el gobierno de los Estados Unidos, actúan en secreto cuando las cosas le van mal al país.

En el film, que contará con la dirección del cineasta Brett Ratner, Pattinson interpretaría a Shaft, un antiguo agente del FBI que lidera al selecto grupo de personas con habilidades sobrehumanas.

Según Ratner, el director, el largometraje podría comenzar a rodarse a principios del próximo año.

Mientras tanto, Pattinson se encuentra filmando ‘Eclipse’, la tercera parte de ‘Crepúsculo’ y se prepara para el estreno de la segunda entrega de la saga.

Además, fue convocado para sumarse al elenco de ‘Unbound Captives’ (Prisioneros desatados), la película que dirigirá Madeleine Stowe y en la cual compartiría pantalla con Hugh Jackman y Rachel Weisz.
