Inquietante rumor para un lunes de agosto. Parece que hay una secuela de"El Mago de Oz" que planea en plan nebulosa gótica desde hace tiempo. Ahora resurge el tema porque parece que la nebulosa está ya empezando a tener forma... La historia se desarrolla en el presente y sigue la pista a la nieta de Dorothy. Será una chavala más cercana a Ripley (el personaje de Sigourney Weaver en Alien, ¿eing?) que a una niña desvalida, según ha dicho el polifacético Todd McFarlane, co-productor del asunto y también creador de las figuras que han dado pie a la historia. La película será más oscura y con más acción que la original... un argumento que, como bien dicen en cinemablend, se está usando en casi todos los remakes, reboots y reloquesea de los últimos tiempos. Actual parece ser sinónimo de más explosiones y más sustos con un poco de Johnny Depp en la mezcla. Bueno, cuentan también que ya hay candidata a protagonizar la película,Dakota Fanning. La Fanning me parece buena actriz, y además elige proyectos variados,arriesgados y diferentes. Va a conseguir una bonita dosis de publicidad con su última película -ella es Jane, una Volturi, en Luna Nueva- y tiene otra peli "indie" en marcha, laque rueda con Kristen Stewart. Así que si sale adelante lo del Mago de Oz, versión 02 gótica y explosiva, sin duda será el proyecto que podría asentar definitivamente su carrera. Pero, ¿os parece atractiva la historia de la nieta de Dorothy?
